@FitSalad58 Welcome to the Greg community! No, Kalanchoe "Pink Butterfly" plants, like other succulents, do not require warm water for watering, and it's generally best to avoid watering with any temperature other than room temperature. Watering Needs:
Kalanchoe "Pink Butterflies" are succulents, meaning they store water in their leaves and stems, so they are drought-tolerant and need infrequent, deep watering.
Watering Method:
Water the plant thoroughly, allowing the water to drain out of the drainage holes, but avoid letting the soil become waterlogged.
Water Temperature:
Use room-temperature water, as extreme temperatures can stress the plant.
Signs of Overwatering:
Yellowing, limp leaves, or leaves detaching from the plant can indicate overwatering.
Soil:
Use a well-draining soil mix, as succulents are prone to root rot in soggy conditions.
Light:
Ensure the plant receives bright, indirect light, as they need adequate light to thrive.
Welcome! I have several pots of these that I have propagated . I have them in 3 different places in my home and the pot that does best for me is about the same growth stage as yours I grow in my kitchen windowsill. That is right up next to my north window and there are no trees blocking my window: I also have a pot in the south and east window on a plant rack about 1 ft away but the pot in my kitchen is showing the fastest growth. I let the pot completely dry out and then give it a good drink. I fill jugs with water and let them sit out for a few days before I water so it’s room temp.
