Any tips to revive this guy post shipping? Ain’t doin so ...

#Banana
10ft to light, indirect
10” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@Zb33 I think the soil might have been the reason for its decline try doing a scratch test as in scratching the bark and seeing if it's still green inside, if it is there's a chance to revive it and firstly change out the soil check if any roots are alive then put in a potting mix with good drainage after that leave it in a place where it gets indirect light or under a grow light and wait for new shoots

Hope your recovers, what type of banana was it?
@GardenCat43 I don’t know if that’s the reason because I just put it in that soil and it was already on the decline previously from the shipping. I’m honestly wondering if they shipped it in too cold of weather because I’m in the part of the USA that just got smacked with the snow storms and it’s currently below average temperatures for us out here. It’s a Musa truly tiny variety :)
@Zb33 ah that explains you it probably was the cold weather then it's hard to recover plants once they get hit with frost best to call the nursery you got it from and tell them about the shipping issue.
@GardenCat43 honestly I think they saw it ahead of time from reviews. It doesn’t look like this plant ships well so I got the package with a coupon code for a new one for free in case I needed to start over πŸ˜‚ I’ll try to revive this guy for a few months and if I can’t then hopefully by then it will be warm enough not to do this to another one in shipping. πŸ˜‚
