Hi guys, this is my new baby, and she's actually dropping...

#Syngonium
Hello Sasha!

It is actually very common for the syngonium to drop a leaf while producing another! She probably is a little shocked from the different environment from where you got her, but since she’s pushing new growth at the same time- I wouldn’t be concerned. That’s if the new leaves are unfurling fine and are firm.

They prefer bright indirect light and they love humidity!

Wishing you the best of luck:)
@Bmd Thank u that help me chill out a bit! I hope she'll love her new home! Got any advice about fertilizer maybe?:)
@cabriolesque anytime!

Syngoniums are pretty hungry for fertilizer when they are actively growing. I use a 3-1-2. That’s 3 nitrogen, 1 phosphorus, 2 potassium. You start fertilizing when you see growth in the spring, every 2-4 weeks. All the way till the fall. In the fall you reduce fertilizing because the days are shorter, less light, less growth. However, if you keep the plant warm enough in the winter with good lighting, it may not go dormant and keep pushing growth. You can then continue fertilizing into the fall/winter but at a much less frequent pace.
