What are these spots on my ficus benjamina’s new leaves?
Hello all, I hope you’re all doing well. My ficus benjamina’s topmost/newest leaves seem to be developing these spots and secretions. It’s not all of them, but only baby leaves have them. The tree is under grow lights, getting about 500 PPFD at that height. They don’t seem hot, conditions are consistent, no signs of pests. The tree seems happy otherwise, still consistent growing and getting bushier. Care is very careful and consistent. The spots seem to have dried sap or some sort of secretion on them. Could they be burn spots? Something else? I’m not sure.

@CourtlyKingfern I’m not so sure. There aren’t any bugs visible anywhere and it doesn’t look quite like scale. I could be wrong though.
@tinyspork I was wondering that too. I know what edema looks in a fiddle leaf fig, but not so familiar with it on the benjamina.
