You’ll want to actually put it in a 3” pot as it looks like it’s in a 2” one. The pot should have drainage and is best to be made of terracotta. You’ll need succulent soil or combine the soil you have with perlite or vermiculite to open it up and give the roots some air. This is the growth period for Graptopetalum paraguayense (ghost plant) so you’ll need to water it but only when the soil is bone dry. You can tell this by inserting a bamboo skewer into the soil and if it comes out dry it’s time to water by placing the pot in a water bath of about 2” and letting it get thoroughly wet. Never water from the top or spray the plant with water as that will encourage leaf rot. Because it is growing it will need lots of light. So far I’ve told you the basics but you can google the plant’s name for more info. If I’m sounding boring and serious I’m just trying to give you lots of information quickly. For maximum fun fill out the Greg information on your plant and start making friends on the app. You can count me as your first and there’ll be lots more. Happy planting!
