When transplanting my succulents, do I need a deep pot to...

Hi Lynn! That is a great question! I would go with a really shallow pot (especially if you are propagating the succulent). Are you propagating the succulent or just wanting to change the pot?
I just got new succulents that I need to put into regular pots now so I didn’t know whether to put in a deep pot or a shallow pot
Hi, you shouldn’t need anything deeper than two inches bigger than the root ball. I don’t know that succulents have really dense roots so shallow would work. This might be helpful: https://youtu.be/f8nsXcxySig?si=n83yNeV4lLR7VmvA
Lynn, it’s always good to base your pot size on the size of the root ball, not the size of the plant. I agree with @Momof83ans - the pot does not need to be really deep.
