How do I bring my Bunny Ear Cactus back to life/health?
My Bunny Ears started wilting with the sun a couple weeks ago and now seems to be rotting at the bottom and isn't even staying up. I don't know how to remove to check the roots or even repot, and even if I do I don't know what to look for when it comes to a cactus. I added cactus fertilizer and a tiny bit of water and then this happened. Anyone have any advice on how to take care of this? #cactus #bunnyearcactus

If the black area at the base is soft and squishy I don’t think that part can be saved. But you can cut off the two top “arms” where they connect to the bottom. Let them callous over for at least a day and then pop them in succulent/cactus soil. Keep them out of the sun for a couple of weeks and no water. Then keep them in the shady area and start giving a little water every 10 days or so. In about a month it should have roots and can be treated like a normal cactus.
