What of if I over watered

@HeroicTobacco96 What makes you think that it might be overwatered? Is that a Plastic pot or a glazed ceramic pot? The soil looks as if it’s a gritty succulent mix?
Can you share a picture of how it’s doing now? My first cactus is recovering from being overwatered and having mealy bugs. I decided to get a look at the roots yesterday, and somehow there’s no rot. We have a florist kalanchoe that we treated like it wasn’t a succulent for years. It’s possible that it’ll be fine if you change your watering routine alone, but it’s hard to say without seeing it
