How do I take care of this?

I just got this plant but I can tell it needs some love! It is loose in its pot and seems to have some discoloration at the tips. I was told it was nibbled on a bit so that’s what those marks are on a couple of them. I watered it but how should I take care of it? Does it need direct sunlight? How often do I water? Did the app identify its plant type correctly?
4ft to light, indirect
2” pot with drainage

It's normal for it to be like that. It's just because it's not used to the new environment
Well, looks like what I have, which is a Ping Pong Succulent or also known as a Pig Ear I think? Scientific name is Cotyledon orbiculata. Although, yours looks a little nude—it’s farina may have been rubbed off, if you see it grow a thick, white, waxy powder like mine here, don’t wipe it off or touch the leaves! It’s to protect it from the sun (:

It doesn’t need direct sun, but it does need ample amount of bright, indirect sunlight. I have mine under a grow light, but it is bright and on it for 13hrs a day.

Since it is a succulent, it can go a while without water—fortunately, this one will show you when it’s thirsty!! When it has gone some time without water (I’m talking 2-3 weeks), the bottom leaves will start to feel thin and wrinkly. You can give them a gentle squeeze to check. If they feel hard and full, it doesn’t need water. I water mine once, deeply (I sit it in a small tub of water and let it soak it up for an hour), every 3ish weeks. Be sure it has or you get it good draining soil that is made for succulents though, and that it fully drains out of the pot either through a drain hole or only carefully watering it. Succulents do not want to stay wet, they overwater easily.
