Completely normal it looks very healthy, if it ever gets crunchy brown then that’s bad obviously you easily it’ll start to shrivel once it doesn’t look healthy. I’m sure it’s called teddy bear because of the color brown. And most Kalanchoes are sometimes dark brown to even red
