My triostar has started showing these white spots on leav...
1ft to light, direct
8β pot with drainage
Last watered 3 years ago
These looks like traces of spider mites!
To get the plant to a healthy state, start by removing the leaves that are infested with these white spots on them.
Next, clean the plant using a mixture of alcohol and water to remove and kill visible spider mites.
Dilute 1 cup of alcohol in 30 oz of water and pour this solution in the spray bottle.
Spray both sides of leaves well and wipe them off with the paper towel or a soft cloth.
You can also use a solution to spray onto the plant to kill further and future pests.
Dish soap and alcohol solution.
Mix 1 cup of alcohol and few drops of dish soap in 30 oz of water. Pour the mixture in the spray bottle. 100% neem oil also works amazing.
If youβd like, youβre also free to repot incase youβre paranoid about more buggies in the soil!
Good luck! πͺ΄π

@foliagegirl it has a lot of new growth, I just had to repot because of how much growth. Thatβs why I donβt think itβs mites. The old soil was health looking. I water about once a week and it gets bright indirect light. I also polish the leaves once a month.
@Gbrownie1 also it hasnβt spread to any of my other plants.
