My best guess would be pests. Check for aphids, or other harmful bugs.

My second, less confident, guess would be root rot. Personally my area has gotten nonstop rain recently, so a lot of my outdoor plants are getting root rot.
@GroovyPilea88 How do I check for aphids? And what do I do if it is pests?
@ShrewdBokchoi check under the leaves and check the stems.

Aphids are very small bugs but there would be a large quantity of them all over the plant.

If you find them, some people use pesticides to get rid of them, but personally I just mix water and dish soap in a spray bottle and spray the mess out of the plant. Kills them instantly.
