#GreenOrangeSpiderPlant
Hello, I just received this pitiful little guy in the mail yesterday. Looks like he didnt travel very well. I am holding off on repotting him just yet. I have him in a spot of indirect light while he adjusts. I did give him a drink of distilled water this morning. What can I do to help him?
I think if the pot has a drain, then pour water in it until it comes out the drain hole and then put it in bright shade and if it’s still looking like that repot it. Hope that helps!
@Lovelyluna Thank you!
No problem! Honestly, you're doing everything right keeping him in that indirect light while he adjusts to the shipping shock. Those Mandarin spider plants look so cool when the orange centers pop. Did you order any other plants with him?
You need to check your pH in your water. Make sure it’s at 6.0 or 6.5 and I use distilled water on any of my plants
@Dfly07 Can you contact the place that sent you this plant? I would contact them and tell them that whatever they sent you is not acceptable and that you want either a replacement or a refund! Any reputable company would want to accommodate you! Good luck! As for the plant before you water again make sure that the soil isn’t too wet! And it’s in what looks like a plastic grower’s pot. So it will take time for the soil to dry out. It’s easier to fix an underwatered plant than an overwatered one!
