Sure, it's possible. But not guaranteed. A lot will be dependent on you. Actually, that's just life in general...

Anywho, mold strongly suggests moisture/humidity and sometimes excessively still air A.K.A. poor air circulation. I kinda doubt air flow is a part here.

My brain goes straight to root rot, considering the minimal information I'm working with.

Toss a few more details our way, and I bet someone(s) here could then give something more definitive.

Begonias are very easy to water-propogate. perhaps cutting any healthy sections away, rinsing them with water to remove any mold, and then placing them in water is the best option.
Thanks a lot for your responses. I was going to give up as it was looking really bad but Iโ€™ll try the second advice :)
