Down to the last leaf on my Alocasia Polly. What is going...
hello! i had a look at the details for Khaleesi. They can lose all their leaves and recover from its underground corm, a 7” holds too much moisture for a plant with one leaf left which would make it susceptible to root rot. Coco coir naturally holds onto salts and terracotta constantly wicks moisture through its walls leaving minerals behind, if you’re using standard tap water chlorine and fluoride are concentrating the soil which Alos in particular don’t like possibly causing the crunchy yellow and brown margins on the leaves. Alternatively it could be thrips or spider mites have you inspected under the leaves near the stem/petiole ? My suggestions are to repot it into a smaller plastic nursery pot (you can always put that pot into a decorative pot) to restrict the wet soil zone and ditch the pure coco coir, switch to a chunky well draining aroid mix (50% potting soil/coir 25% perlite and 25% orchid bark) so the roots can breathe, and to start watering with filtered or rainwater if possible and pests aren’t the issue :)
