Knockout rosebush is not thriving…

Tips on my knockout rose plant. I got it for Vday and followed the watering instructions. The whole plant started to die so eventually I was forced to prune it down to this. About a week ago it popped up with a new sprout. But no new growth since then. What is the best way to care for this baby ? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #KnockoutRedRose

Hi! I’ve had them outside here in zone 8b so I know they like heat and bright light. Roses in general also hate having wet leaves so water carefully. You can also give them coffee (used grounds mixed in water or literally water them with a pot of coffee) to help them push out growth. 🌱☀️❤️

@RealSimpleMama Thank you so much ! I will def try this out ! It hasn’t been warm enough here to put them outside but hopefully in the next couple weeks I can !
