Just propagated this cutlet into water. Let’s see.

#JadePothos
6ft to light, indirect
3” pot without drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
be careful with letting the leaves in the water, they can rot pretty easily from taking on so much moisture. i’d recommend a smaller water container, maybe a cup, then cutting them where they have nodes!
The best way to propagate pothos is to cut the vine up into pieces that have one leaf and one node per cutting. Also, I second what @lynnluvsplants said, never let the leaves touch or be submerged in the water or they'll rot. You also need to remove leaves from the lowest nodes because that's where new roots will grow from.

Here's a video link I share with everyone showing the best method for propagating pothos. Once I started using it for my pothos, I had a much higher success rate.

I echo what the other are saying. Here’s an example with one of my pathos vines- the circled spots are nodes and the red lines are where you’d cut. Then just make sure each node is submerged. That’s where the new root will come out!
