How are your Cinnamon trees doing?
#TrueCinnamonTree Just for fun, how are your plants doing right now? New to the community with a baby indoor tree. Any tips or advice on this pretty little plant?

Hey @ElmTreeMe and welcome to Greg/the community! These guys like a decent bit of space to grow their roots and get mature, but can also be grown as bonsai. they need well draining soil and a well draining pot and like their soil to slightly dry out in between watering. they need tons of light, and if youβre not already iβd recommend a grow light since the winter days are short. you can trim him to keep him small and train him if you desire. happy growing!
you have a cinnamon tree too?? awesome! me too! jonathan is right about everything, mine is in a slightly larger than normal pot but not too big with some good chunky soil. i have a grow light over mine too. careful not to let it get too much direct sun though because that can burn itβs leaves.

@riverzend Thank you Maggie. It's my first one and I'm a bit nervous about putting it in its permanent home. It's acclimated for 7 days now and I think it's time. I just want that soil to be perfect π.
