When do crawlers start crawling?
This Philodendron was sold as a Gloriosum, and I tend to believe it given how every new leaf is 20-30% larger than the last. It was a 2in baby when I got it, it's in a 4in pot now. Putting on new leaves regularly, but seems to be growing more like it's self-heading or a climber. I think I heard that's not terribly abnormal when they're young just curious at what size it should become clear if it's really a Gloriosum or perhaps something else.

@PhoenixDragon88 i beleive it is indeed a Gloriosum. they can get quite large and tall quickly. My husband bought me one that was 2 1/2 feet tall and it was in a 12 inch pot. It was beautiful but diseased when I got it. I tried everything to get it healthy but I lost it. I bought a starter plant after that. Itβs similar to yours because it was 2 inches when I got it. I put it in a 4 inch pot with chunky soil and in about 6 months it outgrew that pot. She also grew a side shoot with bigger leaves so I decided it was time to repot in a 6 inch pot. I trained mine on a trellis to grow upwards but you can also let them hang. The issue is once the leaves get larger they get heavy so itβs better to support them. Hereβs mine after a few weeks in the bigger pot. I have new growth coming in as well.
