Question

My bogota randomly got like this after 5 months of being perfectly fine. It was in low light for this time and I figured I would water it if it its leaves got less hard. I have no idea what happened. I noticed a lot of dark specks near the base of the leaves, is it thrips? Can I still save it?

It could also be the moss

I had one that I had to remove the moss

Did you check to see if it's completely dry before you watered it

I wouldn't water it again because your pot doesn't have drainage

If your soil is dry after watering then the soilnis hydrophobic and wont absorb water . You need to soak the pot and soil in water until it rehydrates. If the pot its in doesnt have a drain hole youll have to remove it from the pot and just soak the rootaball .But then  id suggest removing the old soil and repotting into new succulent mix soil. And use a terra cotta pot with a drainage hole.

ALL! Commercialy grown succulents are in trash mix that shoukd be removed as soon as possible tbh
