yellowing/browning

anyone know what’s up? This is the third leaf to do this. I thought it might be a watering issue but the brow part threw me off so I’m not sure. Also I think my watering is fine. #Philodendron

If it’s the oldest leaf it could be normal. That said, I’d check for pests, especially spider mites. They LOVE big leaves 😒
How's the soil and roots looking? Is it time for a repot? If you don't see pests, your plant may be telling you it needs new soil or a bigger pot if it's rootbound
Maybe a drain pot?
@jr_ Check its roots!
@jr_ I have some ideas but let me first encourage you to complete the plant profile to assist in this question or any futures ones. Plant profiles attached to questions serve as crucial data points for troubleshooting plant issues efficiently within the community. Members rely on these profiles to provide targeted, informed advice. Without access to this data, responses are less likely to offer valuable insights or solutions due to the absence of specific plant care details and context provided in the profiles. I would not expect anyone to be able to get a Gloriosum to grow this much without drainage, per the profile, but if this indeed the case of it’s not the cause of this issue it will likely be one the future. What can you say about the light conditions? Has the plant been growing here until recently ? Greg’s algorithm will assess the location of the pms r in relation to the orientation of tbe exposure and can give you some insight on this. I have been in the habit of using a light meter and have been surprised at how often I erroneously concluded that certain areas had sufficient light. To me, the pattern with what’s going on with the leaves and the history off the other leaves makes me suspect that insufficient light is causing it to go into decline I ❤️terrestrial philodendrons
