What is root rot?
Ive seen many post complaining about their plants having root rot and ultimately dying in the end so i just wanted to know what root rot is and what it looks like , thank you! #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #RootRot

Root rot is when the roots have been over watered and they start to rot/die. When repotting, if your roots are squishy, brown, mushy, that is root rot. You’ll want to prune all rotten roots with sterilized shears and I soak the roots in 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 2 parts water for no longer than 30 minutes to kill the bacteria and prevent it from spreading. And then I sprinkle cinnamon on the roots and use a fresh soil mix and it’s good to go!
