@BabyFrogfruit23 Maidenhair ferns are notorious for being difficult indoors. @RootWrangler is right, they love high humidity so a cloche is a great idea, or a tabletop humidifier. Definitely keep away from heating & air conditioning as both dry out the air. I had some success keeping one in a very bright bathroom where the family showered daily. It has LOTS of windows though so donβt try it if the bathroom is kinda low light. Hard water can be rough on maidenhair ferns too so if your water is hard consider watering it down with distilled water, like half tap water half distilled. This keeps some minerals in the water which distilled water is lacking. Plants typically wonβt thrive with distilled water and no nutrients added back in.
