What do these green growths mean?
I’m pretty new to cacti and succulents, so I had a question about my #AfricanMilkBarrel cacti.
I noticed today these little green growths. They’re mainly present on the top of the cacti but there’s some on the sides of the cacti too. I was wondering what this means? Does it mean they’re growing upwards or outwards? Are these stems?

Like @maddismaw said @yanudinehunyo it's growing upwards. The only reason why it wouldn't grow upward is if there is some sort of damage at the top or it's cut. Those little green things will grow into the spines you see on the sides. Beautiful Euphorbia, keep up the good work 👍😄
