Browning stems and yellowing leaves = overwatering. Brown crispy tops of leaves and yellowing leaves = underwatering. Yellowing leaves only = lack of Sun light.

@SvelteKingfern thank you! I thought it was related to overwatering but my wife wants to keep watering it as she thinks it’s dying. I explained that we just changed the pot and that it needed to adjust.

You're right. Every plant needs time to adjust to a new pot. However careful you are, there are always some roots that get damaged.
