Spider Babies

My Bonnie spider plant has copious amounts of babies, and I feel like she'd look and feel better if I went ahead and got them outta the nest, so to speak. But I'm unsure how to get them to thrive. I've tried before, and it didn't work out. But some of the babies are pretty big. How do you replant them?
1ft to light, direct
8” pot with drainage

I just posted something similar to this the other day here’s my post https://greg.app/question/313kzk/can-i-propagate-this-spider-plant-stem-can-i-propagate-this-and-how-happyplants I am currently trying to propagate in water but I was also told you can prop right in the soil
@Megongreg, thanks. I went to take a look. Ms. Goldblatt explained it thoroughly. I'll try the water method. I tried it in soil, but that didn't work out well.
