@TruePyrethrum50 @SageBlackgoblet while the app is helpful for watering suggestions, it shouldn't be followed to a t. There are countless variables unique to your plant and environment the app can't possibly take into account. Always check the soil with either a moisture meter, wooden chopstick, or your finger and only water if it feels completely dry. When in doubt, it's always best to underwater than overwater. An underwatered plant is a quick fix, but an overwatered plantβnot so much.
If the app sends you a reminder to water but the soil is still damp, click the "snooze" button and it will remind you again in a few days. The app learns as you go, so the more you use it, the more accurate the watering recommendations will become.

Money trees (Pachira Aquatica) in plastic grower pots need water every 1β2 weeks, only when the top 2β4 inches of soil are dry, as plastic retains moisture longer. Water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom, typically using 8β16 ounces depending on size. Reduce frequency during winter. Watering Guidelines for Plastic Pots
Frequency: Every 1β2 weeks; check for dryness rather than following a strict schedule, as plastic pots prevent rapid evaporation.
Amount: Water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom holes.
Method: Pour evenly over the soil or use bottom-watering to ensure the entire root ball is moistened, not just the top layer.
Environmental Cues: Increase to weekly in warm/sunny conditions; decrease to every 2β3 weeks in cool/winter conditions. Crucial Tip: Always empty the drainage saucer immediately, as sitting in water Causes root rot, which is common in plastic pots.
