Has anyone been able to propergate this plant successfull...

I’ve tried propagating in soil but it didn’t take and the cutting died, would water be best? #SprawlingWirevine #PropagationStation
3” pot with drainage

Im not familiar with this plant but by the look of it , it should root in soil. Did you use a rooting hormone? Did you shave off the skin a little where it goes in the soil ? It looks to be a little bit woody stem. It really helps on those types plants to remove some of that waxy skin so it can take in water and grow roots
I scrap away some of that skin down the sides and put a tiny notch in the bottom maybe 1/8 - 1/4 inch deep. Dip in rooting hormone and stick in the soil
I didn’t scrap the skin, maybe that’s why! I did use a rooting hormone but I’m gonna try again in rooting soil and water. Thank you for the tip @TheConservator
@TheConservator ive got some in soil and water, now we wait and see what does better!
