PPP: are grow lights necessary?

Just received my #PinkPrincessPhilodendron and #RoyalQueenPhilodendron starter plants. I plan to keep them by a sunny, south facing window (zone 7a). Will this be enough to promote color and variegation? Iā€™m reading that PPPs prefer bright indirect light, but also see people use grow lights for them.

I have my grow light set up with indirect light with my plants, and I noticed my plants get more varigation and push out leaves faster. I have a Jose buono getting indirect light from a southeast window as well as a grow light :)
