Droopy peppy
My piccolo banda is so droopy. She doesn't need watering and is kept on an east-facing windowsill. I gave her abtrim, because she was real misshapen. But she's still so droopy. What can I do to wake her up? #peperomia #piccolobanda #plantsmakepeoplehappy

@wolfqueen Have you checked for root rot? If sheβs not under-watered then she may be over-watered. Easiest way to check is to take her out of her pot and look at her roots. If they are brown and mushy, she has root rot. If thatβs the case, youβll want to cut away all of the rotted roots, rinse them to get rid of all do the affected soil, and replace all of the soil before putting her back in her pot.
@wolfqueen The only thing I can contribute to your dilemma: I found that Peperomias can be a bit finicky when it comes to the type of water being used. Mine was drooping, then it lost its leaves before I realized that they prefer aged water. Now thatβs all it gets and has new leaves growing. Hope yours will recover Happy Growing!
