How do you care for these things?!
Bought a lipstick plant. I didn’t have a planter big enough for it and it was not doing well in the plastic it came home in. I separated it into two small pots and it looked so much better- I thought it would thrive. Both pots are now brittle and dying. I am so sad. I water based off app recommendations & they are both near windows but not bright full direct light. Someone help please🥲

Ditto to what Avalone @Hoyaobsessed) said. I’d also suggest checking the soil before watering (that is if you’re not already doing that), regardless of what the app says; it’s wrong a lot of times because it can’t possibly know what your home’s environment is like, which absolutely impacts a watering schedule. You could also try bottom watering, if you haven’t before. That way the plant drinks up what it needs rather than being forced to guzzle and then marinate in what’s poured into it.
