What is "weird" growth behavior?

This poor flame violet. I thought she didn't survive shipping, so I babied her. She wasn't doing well so I put her in a terrarium to keep her humidity stable. Then I realized she'd recovered a bit and got tall enough her leaves were on the glass and she started to look sad again. So I put her in her own tiny pot near a bunch of plants I have propagating or on pebble trays and just noticed she's doing this (under the big leaves she came with!). Is this normal or have I totally thrown off her best life 🀣

Looks like you’ve been doing so well you now have some baby offshoots!
@WadePlants I've never seen any kind of violet/episcia leaf out from the bottom so... aggressively 🀣 I just turned her to "sun" the other side and was startled but how many little baby leaves she produced in a short time. She seems happy, though I hope the "bottom up" thing doesn't hurt her more adult πŸƒ
@ShadesofGreen as long as everyone has enough outward space (and looks like you do!), nothing should get cramped and the baby leaves won’t effect the older leaves :)
@WadePlants ahhh perfect!!! Thank you so much! I am historically not great with African violets so I tried episcias as an alternative? And ones been steady the hole time and this ones giving me panic attacks 🀣
I killed an African Violet once and haven’t tried again! But I wouldn’t be too worried, your flame violet looks nice and healthy :)
I senselessly murdered 2 in under a week and felt SO BAD. My mom always had them in the house when i was a kid and she kills practically everything and somehow kept the AVs alive so I thought "how hard can it be?" Hard. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€£ the flame violets are fun though and a little less dramatic (not that you can tell from my history woth Misa Freeda here!) Totally recommend trying one!
