@Miawilliams it’s been fine there for at least a year and a half but gotta love Chicago weather and the drastic changes of spring!
This looks like rot, I’m afraid. Either wet or dry rot. They take a lot of light, so watering is probably more likely your cause, and needs to be adjusted during different times of the year. 😔
