@VastLuckycoin Hi LaShann, Love Doja Cat πΊ what a cool singer and songs, a bit freaky at times ππ
The first thing worth checking is the water situation. A way to do this is to use your finger or a chopstick/skewer in the soil to check for any moisture in the first few inches. Overwatering is common for indoor plants however sometimes with palms it can be a lack of water (underwatering). While Greg offers a guide, individual circumstances can change so it is good to know what your own plant needs.
Palms prefer a soak and dry approach, like getting a shower of rain and then a drying spell before the next shower. This can depend if you top or bottom water.
Attached it a guide for waterings and knowing when to do so.
Yellow leaves are an indication something if wrong, like humans having a temperature or a cold, but the cause can be a number of things.
I have left aside the issue of the soil as that would require repotting and a mix closer to succulents than regular soil but this can also have an effect on drainage and aeration so sometimes additives like perlite or sand are added.
As far as light, it is worth checking with a light meter app on your phone eg Photone. Click #light for some more posts i added about light. They prefer bright indirect, not direct or intense light so your plant details suggest this could be an issues.
Palms like good humidity so a humidifier is the best way to overcome any issues there.
Leaving aside outside issues such as pests, fertilizer may give a boost.
Personally i prefer using distilled water than tap water, depending on the mineral content and contaminants.
I have included some guide (general care and yellow leaves) as well as a video to assist you.
I hope this helps answer your question. All the best ππ
