Is it doing okay? (New plant)

#MedusaHeadAirPlant
I just got this guy last week and I’m not sure if these are changes since then or not. I asked on here how to care for it and watered it once by spraying it with distilled water and making sure it didn’t collect in the center. The ends of some of the leaves look to be turning brown and dying and I’m not sure if they were like that or not. It’s been in the window getting sun since I was told it wanted direct sunlight. Do the roots look okay? Am I doing something wrong?

Hi! It’s looking great. They don’t need roots to survive. They absorb humidity through the fuz. I have 5 of these that I’ve been taking care of since March. They were about to bloom when I got them so they are close to the end of their life span. They are focusing their energy on producing pups now. I don’t keep mine in direct sunlight though. They get some direct sunlight in the morning for about 4 hours and after that it’s mostly bright indirect light. I soak them in water once a week for 30 mins to an hour and then I hang them upside down to dry for 4 hours in a well ventilated area. I saw someone else here using aluminum jewelry wire since it’s flexible and it’s worked great to lightly wrap it around to get a grip when hanging them upside down to dry so the middle doesn’t stay wet. I also use a supplemental fertilizer spray once a week (usually 3 days after soaking them). Added some photos of one of mine and how I hang it. Hope this helps!
Following along with this, as I'm in the same boat with my new blushing bride air plant. From my perspective, it looks just fine, though I've questioned myself on it, too, as I've failed these before, so I'm curious what others might say.
I forgot to add this but depending on the humidity levels in your home, you may see it turn like a slightly silver/dusty color. It’s just more fuz to absorb more humidity if it feels it’s not getting enough. Here’s a photo of the fuz making it look dusty/silver and a pup peeking out 😁
@iHasCheeks Thank you so much! Especially for including photos
