Why is it drooping?

I’ve had my xanthosoma for a while now and it always droops when it gets dry but usually bounces back within 12-24 hours. I went out of town for 1 1/2 weeks came back to it drooping & needing water. I watered and now almost a week later it’s still drooping. It’s been browning on the edges for a while (my hidified broke and I haven’t bought a new one). But it just put out a new leaf that looks healthy. Any advice? Should I trim back all the browning leaves?
6ft to light, indirect

Hi Hannah! I would clip it off so you sweet plant can concentrate on the new growth and not healing the droopy leaf- that’s what I would do, especially since you see new growth- GOOD LUCK & HAPPY NEW YEAR HANNAH!
