Harvesting Seeds from Thai leaf

I have one of my Thai leaf plants going to seed. (My goal here is to extract the seeds from this so I can sow them next season.)

You can see from the photos (taken a few days apart) the flower pods are beginning to pop. With the the very bottom teir just recently finishing business and now it's flowers have decayed and dropped to the soil below.

Is it dislodging seeds at this stage? Should I quickly extract the flower now or should I wait a bit for something else to happen.

I hear people will say online wait untill it goes brown but that advice is usually for regular Basil flowing. I have no idea. Please help! :)

@InvitingCat Hi kimi, To collect your own seed, let your Thai basil flower and then collect the flowers as soon as they start to brown.

Dry flowers inside in a warm location. Once dry, crush over a bucket or dish and sieve the contents to separate the seed from the chaff (dried flowers and leaves).
