I need some advice.
I know I have asked about this before. I need some clarification. Is it absolutely necessary for there to be a leaf for this to root? I really hate to waste such a large cutting. What do you guys think.

I have seen many propagations without leaves, which came out successful. Mostly I have seen with Monstera Deliciosa.
They take a cutting an putting it roots down in some moss or perlite. This way the new roots will grow from where the aerial roots are, and a new growth point will show up.
So you can always try with your plant, because a leaf isn't necessarily needed for a propagation. It is only a higher succes rate with a leaf. And faster.
I am experimenting this with my Philodendron Florida Ghost stem, as long as it doesn't die I keep trying.
See picture if you need help identifying your stem. And this is a video i watched about it that i found interesting.

@SvelteKingfern A cutting doesn't necessarily need a leaf
Thank you all so very much @Nathaliezyx4 @SvelteKingfern @Gordo And yes @Mindbodyplants I love this pot too. And I am going to cut this long stem up. I feel reassured by all of you. @jodisplace
There grows a leaf from the node point. That's why I said "a leaf AND a node".
Some people may take the instructions too directly, may misunderstand and cut off the healthy leaf. @Nathaliezyx4
