#happyplants Question ? Should we rotate our plants that ...

@FitSalad58 Welcome to the Greg community! Yes, plants sitting on a windowsill generally need to be rotated regularly to ensure they receive even light exposure and prevent them from leaning excessively towards the light source, which can cause uneven growth; this is especially important for plants that prefer bright light. Happy Growing!
Hi. Depends 😀 I've heard it's great for many bushy/leafy plants for even growth. Others, like phalaenopses, not so much 😀 otherwise the leaves might turn and don't grow evenly. Or (if in spike/bud) you won't have those great cascading flower spikes (because the flowers tend to turn and open toward the light source).
Some plants yes as they grow towards the light ex. Arrowhead vines and notorious for this. Some plants no I don’t rotate . My low growing succulents I do not. My African violets I do not . Anything that is low in a pot I do not . I do have some of my Hoyas about 3 ft from the window and on plant stands and I rotate them 1/4 turn every time I water so the plant ok all sides gets a turn in the brighter light . My orchids ehhh I don’t rotate them . The spikes almost always emerge from the plant that is facing the light so I leave them be.
It's recommended for a fuller look, also to prevent tipping over from weight too much on one side. If tipping is not an issue, however, then it is purely for cosmetic purposes.
Well I have 3 desert rose
And 2 false Christmas cacti and 1 peace lilly
And another one xalled a toffee something plant

So I assume I have to rotate all these, 1 quarter turn every 2 weeks
This one is the toffee one
