By are the leaves on my Philodendron Birkin turning brown...

Can you post a picture? What is your watering routine like, and how much sun does it get? Does it have drainage?
@ZarfSeacampion how often are you watering? Can you share a photo of the black leaves so we can get a better look. If the leaves are droopy and turning brown, it usually means you aren’t watering enough. If the leaves are mushy brown, that could indicate and issue in the roots or some type of fungal infection. It would be hard to diagnose without actually having seen the damage. I have 2 Birkins and they seem pretty easy going to me. I keep both of mine under grow lights 10 hours a day. I potted them in an ariod soil mix. Nice and chunky. Mine seem to be doing great. I water every 8-10 days
They get bright light form the sun in the morning but not a lot of sun light . They are in regular potting soil. I water weekly.
They are in a self watering pot.
