If I have no insects, when should I feed it

You don’t have to! Bugs are just like a fertilizer for these plants. But they can still live off of pure sunlight and distilled, reverse osmosis , or rain water. But if you ever do want to feed it for fun you can buy live bug feed for amphibians online and put a couple into the pitchers.

@Seahawk Hi Ron- I get the clear cubes from Amazon! They don’t have any junk in them and the plants love them! Just search carnivorous plant food- they are clear jelly cubes🪴

@Seahawk I cut the small squares up into two pieces for the small pitchers and give a large one to the larger pitchers. I put a piece in 2-3 pitchers a couple times a month. 😁🪴
