Hi Aidan, wow-from a store? How long did shipping take?? You should take photos and send to seller and request your money back- that’s horrible. Before anything, check for pests on the plant and in the soil. That said, I do see a bit of green. I might suggest a repot in new soil. My Boston is in a cactus/succulent soil with perlite and some orchid bark- 50%/40%/10%. Put him in an East facing window or patio where it can get morning sun, but bright indirect light and out of hot Utah sun the rest of the day. Give it a good drink, let the water flow out the bottom, then let it adjust to your environment, about a week or 2. Check soil regularly- they like consistent moisture, but not soaking wet. Repotting will stress it, but it should start to show signs of life. I had a huge one that I thought I killed over the winter- I did just what I said and took off all the dead parts, and it came back and is even bigger now. Top left is mine. I hope this helps πŸͺ΄πŸ’•
@SillyPlantGirl Thank you so much! Got it from CostaFarms. The other fern that with it is in much better shape. I was surprised that the 2 day shipping ending up taking 8 days. I only have north and south facing windows in my house. I will repot him tomorrow!
I think so
