@Idplantthat help is appreciated. I just cut back and put the cuttings in water.
@user1a878ed1 When you say "just cut," was the part of the plant you propagated green or more woody? In my experience with coffee plants, cuttings with more mature, woody material tend to do better, though green nodes work too! Also, I highly recommend using a rooting hormone to increase your chances of success. Instead of propagating in plain water, I like to use a humidity bag method. Get some perlite and Fluval Stratum (volcanic substrate), like this one: https://a.co/d/066PXwkz. Put that mix into a self-watering cup, make it damp (not soggy), and insert your cutting ensuring at least one node is buried. Then, place the whole cup inside a Ziploc bag (the ones with the movable slider clasp work great). Instead of adding extra water to the bag, just mist the inside to create humidity, seal it, and let it chill for about two weeks. Open it as minimally as possible during those first two weeks so the humidity stays locked in. After that, slowly open the slider a little more each day to acclimate it. Within about a month total, you should have a well-rooted new coffee plant!
