overwatered cebu blue pothos

so i accidentally overwatered my cebu blue pothos. i took her out of her pot today, trimmed off dead leaves and rotting roots, and switched her to hydroponics. i now plan to keep her in water permanently. any tips?
Make sure you have REALLY good drainage. Don’t water too often. 😊
@maci.in.bloom what if i’m keeping her in water permanently?
That’s perfectly okay!
@maci.in.bloom any tips on helping her recover while in water? she has like no roots
@kulotkayla Hi Micky! I have always planted my pothos in soil after they are well rooted. They are a climbing plant and will probably do much better in soil. I’m no professional though that is just my experience. Pothos love a good organic soil and they love to dry out between waterings! I let mine dry out completely. Maybe someone else can give you some hydro advice. I suggest planting it but let’s see what others will say! Good Luck! πŸͺ΄πŸŒΊπŸŒΈ
@Ponytailmom thank you darah!
