Advice on where to start?

#Echeveria

Just got this little dude as a gift today and I was looking on advice for how to care for it

That’s a sweet little plant. Siricco will add layers of petals (leaves) and grow taller. He will lean toward the light source. Rotate him a quarter turn every few days to keep him growing upright.
Yay! He’s a cutie! Succulents like terracotta pots, lots of light but direct sun may scorch their leaves, they like to be tight in their pots and I’d get a cactus soil or a very airy soil and add perlite to it. Only water when they are dry. Have fun!
r/succulents on reddit has a wiki full of info for beginners. its very comprehensive and easy to understand, and is where i learned everything starting out. other info sources for beginners tend to be full of misinformation/subpar advice
