Why should they tell me I need water the plants when ther...

I just hit snooze when this happens. The app is more a reminder for me and it’s up to me to determine if the plant needs water or not. It’s hard to determine temp in your home along with how much water was ready given to a plant. So many things come into play that the app would not know.
Watering needs are generalized by the plant type...lots of environmental conditions will change the watering cycle. Temperature...humidity...soil type...light levels...how much water you are giving it...all impact how often you should be watering . This app actually learns from you and your habits. If it says you need water check to be sure it does confirm and water as requiredοΏΌ or snooze if you don't need water..it will tack and adjust.
Thirding the watering notifications as reminders to check if plants need water.

Also as a note, you should really dump any excess water in the bottom of the cache pot. Plants do not like to sit in standing water as the soil gets very dense and heavy and the roots struggle to get oxygen. Of course there are exceptions if you are water propping, growing in semi hydro, or using a wicking setup.
