White leaf on monstera albo variegata. Care tips?
Iβve been told that the leaves are delicate and donβt last long as they lack clorophile. Any care tips? Will the next leaf contain green again or should I cut back? Thank you! #MonsteraAlbo #variegatedplants

Welcome to Gregs Alberto!Thatβs one gorgeous leaf π.
Unfortunately youβre right. Since itβs a genetic mutation the variegation is not stable. Itβs normal for ONE leaf to revert back to a green color, then the next leaf will be perfectly variegated. Experts recommend cutting it down to the last node that has a variegated leaf, ONLY IF, there is no variegation for MORE THAN TWO consecutive leaves. No variegated leaves back to back to back. Because it has less chlorophyll, itβs a slower grower than the regular Monstera Deliciosa, so be patient. I hope your rare Albo Monstera will live long and prosper.
