Sorry about your plants, Michelle. It's disappointing BUT if they can hold on through the winter, they should make a good recovery when the temperature is above 50Β°. (:
@Boymom-plantmom has lots of those and sometimes, they look sad in the winter, but they always bounce back in the spring!

If you can let them stay under the grow light longer (like all day) they might be happier. However, no grow light is as good as that giant one in the sky. πŸ˜‰
I brought them outside cut off and got rid of all the dead.. propagated what I could..they are so sad..☹️
Probably needs a lot more than 3 hours, especially if it’s not a very strong light- try 8-12 hours!
οΏΌ Your plant is huge! I think it probably needs a lot more light than three hours, although I’ve had a grow in the shade and everywhere else in the backyard here in Houston They’re very easy to root so you can make babies! I wouldn’t panic yet Tradescantia is a tough little booger. οΏΌ
@GrandeeRamshorn These look like wandering Jew . I did not know the proper scientific name . These plant will get shock from extreme cold. But they are very hard to kill. It looks like you have some that did not die from cold so cut it and put in water to root some and plant any with roots attached in good soil and keep inside. It will come back . I had one thst got knock off a stair case and was on the floor for two weeks as we left for vacation without knowing it was out of pot on the floor . When I returned I repotted some tips that looked ok and it came right back.
Thank you guys! I've had these for a few years..and have always bounced back after coming in for winter...but never this bad ☹️ propagated all of them from mama plant..always have been hardy..
Does anyone know about what spectrum of the grow light is ideal? I have an all spectrum light..
I'll turn the light on longer every day..πŸ‘
