Is that the type of plant that does better if watered from the bottom? I have two that Colathas that prefer watering from the bottom. Not an expert by any means. I had trouble with them when I watered from top.
I know Sheridan is very dry as I used to live there on Laclede near the park and Indian fairgrounds. Also near the heater might be adding to the problem. You might try misting or using a humidifier.
