Fungus gnat females lay small, yellowish-white eggs on the surface of moist soil. The larvae that hatch are legless, with white or transparent bodies and shiny black heads.

If you are having that issue I would repot the ones that have that issue. Make sure to was out the pot and rinse the roots as well. Then repot them.
Do you have a picture? Some β€œyellow eggs” tend to be confused by newer plant parents, but they’re actually slow release fertilizer 😊
